Visitors' Journal
Marist Mission Ranong is blessed with many visitors and volunteers, both international and local.
We are very grateful for their contribution to our mission.
The thoughts they share here underline the fact that we all have a part to play in the mission of spreading the Good News.

Early in May, we were visited by another Augustinian priest, Fr Michael OSA. Originally from Australia, Michael has been assigned in Korea for the past 20 plus years.
Michael is currently on sabbatical, and we were pleased that he made Ranong one of his stops, so that we could learn from his interesting and varied experiences. |

At the end of April, we had a visit from Fr John Bosco Suwat Luangsa-ard. A priest of the Diocese of Suratthani, Fr Suwat is the Director of Baan Porntawan, the Diocesan Social-Pastoral Center in Takua Pa.
Fr Suwat is an important friend and supporter of Marist Mission Ranong, so we were delighted to have him visit.

We had a weekend visit during April from Fr Tony Banks OSA, Provincial of the Augustinians in Australia.
Tony was here with Fr John Murray OSA, who is currently the sole Augustinian working in Thailand, based in Bangkok.
Tony was keen to visit the Thai-Burma border, and was able to see a little of MMR’s various ministries during his stay
